As a camp counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children while enjoying a fun and rewarding summer experience yourself. Join our fantastic team this summer and help create lasting memories for our campers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
must enjoy working with children
reliable
supervise and engage with campers in various activities and programs throughout the camp day
implement, organize, and lead various activities; group games, arts and crafts, recreational activities
provide guidance, supervision, and support to campers throughout their day
maintain a safe camp environment for all participants
collaborate with other camp staff to create a fun and memorable experience for campers
REQUIREMENTS:
experience working with children in a camp, daycare, or educational setting
ability to work as a team player and have flexibility with both campers and co-workers
strong communication and interpersonal skills preferred
knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies beneficial
