CIT Program
Counselors in Training are a vital part of our program, and many CITS have been offered employment opportunities after volunteering with us. CITs are responsible for helping counselors carry out daily activities, keeping campers safe, and helping to make sure that every camper goes home with a smile!
CITs must be at least 14 years old at the time of volunteering. They are required to volunteer for at least two full weeks of camp, 8:30-4:30, Monday-Friday. All CITs are also required to commit to a full week shift of before or after care. Volunteer weeks do not need to be consecutive, and more are always welcome! There will also be a mandatory training orientation in May or June. This date will be announced closer to the season.
There is a one time, non-refundable $125 registration fee, regardless of how many weeks a CIT is volunteering for. This is to cover the cost of the program, field trips, and a T-shirt.
